Our impact 2025 - 2026

Thanks to our incredible family of supporters, we funded some truly amazing things at Evelina London over the past year.

Through generous donations and fundraising, we supported the devoted Evelina London team in providing compassionate, trailblazing care for children, young people and their families.

Our impact in numbers

£770,000 specialist X-ray machine

With your support, we funded a £770,000 specialist X-ray machine that helps lower the risk of cancer in children.

800 more children supported through play

Thanks to charity support for Evelina London’s specialist play team.

2,300 new monthly donations

We had 2,300 incredible people join our ever-growing community by signing up to donate to our cause every month.

Together, we’ve achieved amazing things

With your help, we were able to fund projects and equipment across Evelina London Children’s Hospital and community services that went beyond what the NHS can provide. This included things like improving patient and parent experience, buying new state-of-the-art equipment, and testing innovative approaches.

40 medals won!

Our generous donors and fundraisers helped Evelina London’s Very Important Penguins (VIP) team to win 40 medals at the British Transplant games. The games are an annual sporting event that brings together over 900 incredible competitors who have undergone a lifesaving transplant.

Participants, some as young as three years old, take on sports such as track and field events, swimming, badminton, tennis and cycling.

Purchasing specialist equipment

700 children are growing up with a lower lifetime cancer risk. Thanks to our supporters, we funded the £770,000 specialist x-ray machine that made that possible.

Fuelling the comforting power of play

800 more children found the hospital a little less scary, thanks to charity support for Evelina London’s specialist play team and their toys, games and activities.

With the help of our amazing supporters, we funded child-friendly play spaces and trailblazing play equipment, like sensory machines.

A moment for our amazing supporters

We could not have done any of the amazing things above without our brilliant, inspiring supporters.

Over the past year, 1,149 of them laced up their trainers and took on challenges from marathons to ultra walks, covering 76,175 miles between them – the equivalent of travelling more than three times around the world!

Our adventurous abseilers

Celebrating 10 years of abseil

In September, we celebrated 10 years of our iconic abseil event. In that time, thousands of our supporters have taken the 160 feet plunge down St Thomas’ Hospital, raising over £1.8 million.

Julie’s incredible Great Wall of China Trek

Our adventurous supporter Julie covered an incredible 28 miles trekking the Great Wall of China to give back to Evelina London for the amazing care they gave to her daughter, Lucie.

Julie shares, “She was constantly in and out of hospital…and I’m still so thankful for the help they gave my little girl.”

Our ever-growing community

2,300 incredible people joined our community by signing up to donate to our cause every month.

Many of them go on to leave a gift in their Will to ensure that future generations of children can receive life‑changing care.

“My daughter had life‑saving surgery as a baby at Evelina London. I want to help them do the same for other children.” – a parent who’s child was cared for at Evelina London and has chosen to leave a gift in their Will.

We are so grateful to our family of supporters who run, swim, bike, trek, bake, donate to help the incredible team at Evelina London do such amazing things.
