Following the huge success of our Christmas appeal, we’re helping to fund vital improvements to the neonatal unit at Evelina London.
Incredible things are happening to create more homely spaces, where our team can provide comfort to worried parents of seriously ill babies. There will be a complete redesign of the family spaces, including the breast feeding and expressing room, quiet rooms, and rooming-in rooms.
Other areas will have comfy new furniture, improved lighting and a new calming colour scheme, creating a more relaxing atmosphere.
"These spaces are essential to help nurture special bonds, to offer comfort and solace to parents and carers coping with the trauma of seeing their baby in intensive care, and to prepare them for taking their little one home."
We’re proud to support the care provided to families here on the neonatal unit at Evelina London.
But we want to be able to do even more for them, so that we can give families the best possible start to their lives together. These improvements will enable Jenny and the neonatal team to do this.
