Caring for the whole child – We combine intensive care, general paediatrics and highly specialist services. This means fewer transfers, faster decisions and safer care for the sickest children. We were the first children’s hospital to be rated ‘outstanding’ by CQC.

For their whole life – We are the only hospital in the capital where specialist children’s services sit alongside maternity and fertility care, and adult services, enabling seamless care from pre-conception to adulthood.

With scale and reach – We are one of the largest providers of women’s and children’s healthcare in the country, with the largest neonatal care unit in London and the largest paediatric intensive care unit in South East London.

Through research-led innovation – We have two dedicated children’s research wards and 90 staff working on over 270 research projects. We’re helping pioneer premature birth prediction, creating global treatments for nut allergy and leading the way to curing sickle cell disease.
