You have the power to help children like Hamza this Christmas

Together we can help Evelina London do amazing things for children who need them. Hamza was diagnosed with a serious heart condition at his 20-week scan.

When he was born he was taken straight to the neonatal intensive care unit. He had to go for a balloon atrial septostomy, a procedure that widens a gap in the top wall of the heart to improve circulation.

Thanks to the incredible care he received, Hamza is now a happy six year old. He still visits Evelina London regularly for check-ups. It can sometimes be scary with the needles and noisy machines, but the dedicated play specialists are on hand to ease his worries. Read more about Hamza’s story.
