Princess of Wales visits Evelina London

Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales visited Evelina London Children’s Hospital in her role as Royal Patron.

We were delighted to welcome a royal visitor to the hospital as the Princess of Wales, who is Patron of Evelina London, came to hear more about our plans to grow Evelina London.

During the visit, The Princess met children, families and staff, and learned more about plans for the future Principal Treatment Centre that will bring together specialist cancer services for children from 2027. Evelina London Children’s Charity is currently fundraising to help deliver this specialist cancer centre, creating family-friendly spaces and joined-up care for children with cancer.

As well as bringing much joy and recognition to those she met, it was fantastic to see just how interested the Princess was in our ambitious plans for the future of children’s services at Evelina London, and how invested she continues to be in our growth.

“The Princess’s visit is a huge boost not just for staff and patients, but for all supporters of Evelina London Children’s Charity, who are helping to make Evelina London’s ambitious expansion plans a reality.”
