New funding call-out to reduce health inequalities

Grants of up to £100,000 available for projects that create more equitable access, experiences and/or outcomes for patients at Evelina London.

We are grateful for your interest, but the application process has officially ended.

We will be allocating grants to projects that offer innovative solutions to reducing health inequalities. They will do this by addressing unfair and avoidable differences in access to care, experience of care, or their outcomes between different groups of patients

What are health inequalities?

Health inequalities are unfair and avoidable differences in health across the population, and between different groups within society. These include how long people are likely to live, the health conditions they may experience and the care that is available to them.

People living in areas of high deprivation, those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities and those from inclusion health group, for example the homeless, are most at risk of experiencing health inequalities. Taken from the NHS England website.

Fairer, more equitable care

As part of our four-year strategy, Evelina London Children’s Charity is committed to supporting the incredible teams at Evelina London to tackle and reduce health inequalities for babies, children, young people, and women – making healthcare fairer and better for all.

We’d like applicants to propose innovative projects aimed at reducing health inequalities by providing more equitable services for patient groups. These projects should focus on developing innovative models of care or solutions that enhance equitable access, improve patient experiences, and achieve better outcomes for patients at Evelina.

Apply for a grant, and together we can transform how children and families access and experience care from Evelina London.
