Useful information
The 2025 TCS London Marathon will take place on Sunday 27 April.
The registration fee is £50.
We ask runners who have registered for one of our charity places to raise a minimum of £2,500. There is no minimum fundraising target for ballot place runners, we only ask you to raise what you can.
We set the target at £2,500 to enable us to make a significant impact for children, young people and families, and the dedicated teams who provide their care. Now more than ever, charitable funding is vital, and every penny we receive helps Evelina London continue providing compassionate, groundbreaking care.
We’re here to support you with your fundraising. If you have any concerns about reaching the target, please get in touch with one of our friendly team.
Alongside places available through the main TCS London Marathon ballot, Evelina London Children’s Charity has a limited number of charity places to fill. Due to high demand, there is an application process for these spaces.
When applying, please ensure you give as much detail as possible regarding your fundraising plans and your motivations for taking part in the London Marathon. The more detail you give, the more likely you will be successful.
As part of the application, we ask that you pay a £50 registration fee. If you’re unsuccessful this will be refunded to you.

We will send you an email at the same time, reminding you to complete this registration.
London Marathon Events will announce specific deadlines. Please note, if you do not complete your second stage registration before the deadline, you will not be able to participate on race day
The money you raise will help Evelina London to go further, beyond what the NHS can provide – funding things like specialist transport incubators, virtual reality headsets to distract anxious young minds, and uplifting spaces where families can spend time together.
100% of the money we receive supports the work of Evelina London, as our fundraising and administrative costs are covered by the endowment of Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation.
