Take on the Thames Path Challenge 2025 following England's iconic river. Most will walk, many will jog, some will run, and all have special reasons to push themselves.

Join 2,000 fellow adventurers of all ages and abilities as you tackle the classic capital-to-coast route

The 100km Thames Path Ultra Challenge starts at Putney Bridge, passes Hampton Court, and reaches Runnymede (where the Magna Carta was signed) at 50km. Then it continues through beautiful scenery to Henley and Windsor.

This challenge will push you, but with the right preparation and support, you can do it. Prefer a shorter distance? There are 75km, 50km, 25km, and 10km options, so there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re going solo or with a team of friends or family, it’s sure to be a weekend to remember.

How to sign up

      1. Visit the official Thames Path Challenge website
        Sign up on the registration page. 
      2. Choose your challenge distance
        Select from 100km, 50km, 75km, or 25km options based on your desired level of challenge.
      3. Select ‘Full Sponsorship’ registration type
        Choose to fundraise for Evelina London Children’s Charity and get a 50% discount on the registration fee.
      4. Complete the registration form
        Provide your personal details and select any additional options like camping or parking if needed.
      5. Set up your fundraising page
        You’ll receive guidance on setting up a fundraising page to share your journey and gather support.
      6. Prepare for the event
        Use the provided training tips and fundraising resources to get ready for the challenge.
      7. Take on the Thames Path Challenge 2025 and enjoy the experience!

Fundraising options

Full Sponsorship

You pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising and we cover the cost of your event place!
For 100km registration fee is £50, fundraising target of £575.

Mixed Funding

You pay half of the event place cost yourself, fundraise a bit less and we pay the balance of the event place cost.
For 100km registration fee is £110, fundraising target of £330.

Own Place Fundraising

You pay the full cost of the event place – fundraise whatever you can, with no set target or deadline, and there’s no event place cost at all to the charity – us!
For 100km registration fee is £199.
